My shop isn't showing up for customers

Customers see "This store isn't available", can't find a product, or can't find you on Google? Work through the settings that decide whether your shop is open and listed.

When customers say your shop won't load or they can't find it, the cause is nearly always one of a handful of settings. Start by checking what customers actually see, then follow the matching section.

Check what customers see

Open your shop's web address in a private or incognito browser window, so you see it the way a stranger does. You can find the address, with a View storefront button, under Settings → Channels → Manage storefront.

  • If you see This store isn't available, ShopEazy isn't serving your shop at all. Go to the next section.
  • If the shop opens but a product or section is missing, go to The shop opens, but something is missing.
  • If the shop opens fine but people can't find it through Google or the ShopEazy directory, go to People can't find you.

Customers see "This store isn't available"

This page means one of the following is true. Check them in order.

Your online storefront is switched off

  1. Click Settings in the sidebar, then Channels.
  2. Find Online storefront and make sure its switch says On.

If the switch flips back to Off, your store isn't ready to go live yet. Open Settings → Legal and check two things:

  • Store category: choose what your shop sells and click Save category.
  • Merchant agreement: it should show a version number and the date you accepted it. If it says Not yet accepted, email support (details at the end).

Then try the switch again.

If Online storefront is off but WhatsApp is on and connected, customers who arrive from your WhatsApp chat can still see your shop and pay. Nobody else can browse it.

Your plan has lapsed

When your free trial ends or a payment fails, your storefront goes offline until you subscribe again. You'll see a red banner across the top of your console saying Your free trial has ended., Your last payment didn't go through. or Your subscription has ended.

Click Reactivate on that banner to open Plan & billing and choose a plan. Your shop comes back once your plan is active.

In the last few days of a trial you'll see an amber banner instead, counting down the days. Click Choose a plan before it runs out to avoid any gap.

You changed your ShopEazy address

If you changed your ShopEazy address (the yourshop.shopeazy.co part), the old address stops working straight away, and anyone using it gets This store isn't available. Check the current address under Settings → Channels → Manage storefront → Domains, and share that one. Update any links you've posted on social media or printed.

You closed your business

Closing your business takes every storefront in it offline. If you didn't mean to close it, email support.

You're using your own domain and it isn't live yet

Your own domain only starts working once the console shows it as live. Until then, your shop still answers on its ShopEazy address. See Custom domain not connecting.

The shop opens, but something is missing

A product, service, event or tour doesn't appear. Open Catalogue → Products (or Services, Events or Tours). If a banner says some aren't on your shop, click Show all. For a single item, open it, pick Show on my shop in the Your shop box and save. Archived items stay hidden too.

A whole section is missing (for example, all your events). Open Settings → What you sell and check that the switch for that type (Physical products, Services, Events or Tours) is On. Turning one off archives everything in it and takes it off your shop. Turning it back on brings it all back.

The product shows but the button says Sold out. The stock count has reached zero. Update the stock on the product, or turn on Keep selling when out of stock if you're happy to take orders you'll fill later.

People can't find you

ShopEazy lists shops in a public directory at shopeazy.co/stores and points search engines at them. Your shop is only listed when all of these are true:

  • Online storefront is on.
  • Your plan is active, or you're still in your free trial.
  • At least one product, service, event or tour is On my shop. An empty shop isn't listed.
  • List my shop in the ShopEazy directory is on. Find it under Settings → Channels → Manage storefront → Getting found.

Turning the directory listing off only stops ShopEazy advertising you. Your shop stays open to anyone who has your address.

Being listed doesn't mean Google shows you straight away. Search engines visit on their own schedule, and ShopEazy can't make them list a shop sooner. Sharing your address on your social pages and WhatsApp is the fastest way to get your first visitors.

If something goes wrong

The Online storefront switch won't stay on, and there's no clear message. Set your Store category under Settings → Legal and check the Merchant agreement shows as accepted. If both are done and it still won't switch on, contact support.

I reactivated my plan but the shop is still unavailable. Check that Online storefront is still On under Settings → Channels. If it is, contact support with your shop address.

I can't make changes anywhere in the console. If your plan has lapsed, the console is read-only. The banner says You can still view everything — subscribe to make changes again. Reactivate first.
