Do I need a South African bank account?
Yes — you'll need a local bank account to receive payouts in Rands from your payment gateway. ShopEazy works with Yoco, iKhokha and Peach Payments.
Are there any hidden transaction fees?
No. ShopEazy charges a platform fee on each sale based on your plan — 3.5% on Starter, 2.8% on Growth, 2.1% on Scale — billed monthly. On top of that you pay whatever your own payment gateway charges to process the card; that's their fee, set by them, and it goes to them. Nothing else.
Can I use my own custom domain?
Absolutely. Our Growth and Scale plans allow you to connect your own .co.za or .com domain as an add-on. We provide free SSL certificates for all stores.
