It asks first
Before it books couriers, marks an order paid, refunds someone, takes your shop live or posts in your name, it shows you what will happen and what it costs, then waits. It can't delete anything. It hides or archives things instead, so you can bring them back. It can't pay money out or change where you get paid.
You choose what it can do
When you connect, you pick one of three settings: Build and run my shop, Help with orders, or Just look. Refunds, paying for your plan and managing your team stay off until you tick them. Staff only get what their role allows.
Switch it off any time
Go to Settings, then AI apps, to see each connection, who made it and when it was last used. Disconnect one and it stops straight away. Everything it does shows up in your Activity log.
Your data
We don't sell your data, and we look after it under POPIA, as our privacy policy sets out. When your AI reads something from your shop, it goes to the AI company you picked, and their terms apply to it.
Chatting is free.
ShopEazy credits for chatting, even when it writes for you or reads your numbers.
That part runs in your own ChatGPT or Claude.
You use credits when ShopEazy makes something.
That covers photos, logos, video, music, voiceovers, promo reels and email campaigns. It tells you the cost and asks first, and credits only come off if it actually makes the thing.

You only set it up once.
ChatGPT and Claude move their menus around sometimes. If a step looks different, look for Connectors in Settings.
Already on ShopEazy? Open AI apps- Tap Add to ChatGPT. We copy the address and open ChatGPT in a new tab.
- In Settings, find Apps or Connectors and choose to add your own. Some accounts need developer mode switched on first, under Advanced.
- Name it ShopEazy and paste the address below.
- Sign in to ShopEazy, choose what it's allowed to do, then tap Allow.
- Start a new chat, turn ShopEazy on in the tools menu and ask away.

What does it cost?
Connecting is free on every plan, and chatting, writing and reading your numbers use no ShopEazy credits. Making images, video, music, voiceovers and reels does use credits, and it tells you the cost first. ChatGPT and Claude have their own plans, and adding your own connector there may need a paid one.
Which plans can use it?
Every plan from R199 a month, plus the 7-day trial. It can only do what your plan can do in the console, so email campaigns, for example, come with Growth.
Is it safe?
You choose what it's allowed to do when you connect. It asks before money moves or it posts in your name. It can't delete anything, and it can't pay money out or change where you get paid. Everything it does is in your Activity log, and you can disconnect it any time under Settings, then AI apps.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Add ShopEazy once in a browser, then ask from the ChatGPT or Claude app on your phone, using the same account.
Which AI apps does it work with?
ChatGPT and Claude. Other AI apps that let you add a connector by its web address can use the same address. ShopEazy isn't made or endorsed by OpenAI or Anthropic.
